The Treasury Secretary announced on Friday, the administration has extended the deadline for filing Federal taxes to June 15th to help ease the burden on taxpayers caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Both individual taxpayers and businesses will benefit from this extension to file their taxes without any penalties or additional fees. This also gives both businesses and families the opportunity to hold their money during this time where the economy has slowed down and many are suffering from layoffs and revenue losses due to the measures that have been imposed to slow down the spread of the virus.
In addition, Congress and the administration are working to determine a stimulus package that will provide benefits to those who have been greatly affected by the coronavirus epidemic.
