Student Loan Relief Bill Introduced

On Wednesday, a new federal student relief bill was introduced to provide temporary aid to those who have taken federal loans

Millions of people who have taken loans from the Federal Family Education Loan program, a defunct program since 2010, are not covered under the CARES Act that was approved. This act would suspend payments for those who have taken federal student loans under this program.

This new bill comes along as the House votes to approve additional funds to the Paycheck Protection Program, providing more economic relief during the coronavirus pandemic.
