Mexico expects a $1.1 billion investment from Microsoft, over the next five years.
The focus of this major investment is to transform digital technology and deliver improved client services. Part of this investment includes building new data centers, skills programs, and training labs. According to Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella, this investment will broaden the reach of digital technology for people and businesses all over the country.
President Manuel Lopez Obrador expressed this investment will be a great contribution to the economy and show Mexico as an ‘attractive investment destination’.
