Last Democratic Debate Before Iowa

With Iowa caucuses less than three weeks away, Democrat presidential nominee hopefuls hold their last debate before the first contest of the race.

The stage has been reduced down to six possible nominees, among which are: Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, and Tom Steyer.

This is the seventh debate Democrats are holding for the party nomination. The debate is being hosted by both CNN and the Des Moines Register.  It will begin at approximately 9 pm ET and will be moderated by CNN host Wolf Blitzer, Des Moines Register’s Brianne Pfannenstiel, and Abby Phillip.

Monmouth University's latest polls show Biden winning the Iowa Caucuses by about a margin of six percent.  Sanders trails with an 18% likelihood of winning, Buttigieg is at 17% and Warren is fourth most likely at 15%.  Meanwhile, the Des Moines Register/CNN polls have Sanders winning the Iowa Caucuses by about a margin of 3 percent.  Warren is trailing with 17%, Buttigieg is at 16% and Biden is at 15%.

While polls differ in who takes the first spot, they do agree on one thing, there is a clear top four.
