Google has announced its plan to invest over $10 billion this year.
The investment will establish new offices and data centers in 11 states across the US.
According to the Chief Executive Officer, Sundar Pichai, these large investments will generate thousands of new jobs and create opportunities for local businesses in surrounding areas of these new facilities.
Google plans to continue its investments from last year, in which they spent over $13 billion on new data centers, ending the fourth quarter of 2019 with $36.81 billion in expenses [Reuters].
