Congress Safeguards November Election

Congress is now looking towards safeguarding the voting process for the November elections amid the coronavirus pandemic.

A partisan debate has grown over voting by mail for the November elections. Democrats argue that voting by mail is the best way to keep the elections at a low risk of spreading the virus. However, Republicans have raised concerns about this process being susceptible to ballot fraud.

A decision has yet to be made as Congress searches for ways to proceed with the elections without putting voters at risk.
